AAUGH!!
The season of the Great Pumpkin is upon us again!
Halloween is great, its the one time a year that I can be creative and eat a lot of candy at the same time. I think I’d have to say that wife likes it more, she gets Halloween fever so to say. We’ve been trying to watch at least one halloween themed movie every night for the past week or so (so far the list includes the frighteners, disney’s halloween treat, gary-larsons’s television special, and sweeny todd). I think I might talk her into watching Evil Dead 1, 2, and Army of Darkness sometime in the next week.?
As for the comic today, I was wanting to do a great pumpkin themed comic, but nothing was coming to my head, except for a comic where the great pumpkin actually arives, sees his bretheren carved into jack-o-lanterns and chases the kids around with a butcher knife, but that seemed kind of silly… So I decided to go with another Peanuts mainstay, the football kick… now this comic was originally just the three bottom panels, but it seemed like it was too short and that charlie really had very little reason to punch poor lucy, so I made three more seasonal versions of the first scene, and added them above the strip, nowseeing that this has gone on for a very long time, I think that Charlie has more than enough reason to punch that bit** Lucy.?
